Hard times

Let’s talk about the whole Coronavirus situation. I’m definitely not a professional so I won’t write a huge lecture about how to act what to think and what’s going to be next.

This blog was supposed to be about passion that connects people, but what now? We can’t meet with friends to play football. Skateparks are often closed. We can’t practice with our music band etc.

I am sure most of You are extremely sick of this whole sitting at home situation. Honestly, the only thing I was happy about, was that I didn’t have to wake up at 6 am anymore.

But right now I think I would even stand up at 5 O’clock to see my friends.

I’m so grateful that the virtual world has developed so much so that we can f, ex do a group video chat. Still I think that’s not enough for a longer period of time.

What i recommend doing is start something completely new for you.

A smart person told me lately that we can either do nothing, sleep, watch tv etc. Or we can do something productive and try something new.

For me, it is blogging. I never did it before but I decided to give it a try. I also watch a lot of Ted talks on diverse topics and listen to lectures on chemistry and biology.

You can also try to draw, sing or dance even if You suck at it. We should use this extreme situation to try things we never did before. I mean who will judge you when you’re sitting alone at home and sing your lungs out?

Try new things. Try to use this new situation. Do it before it will be too late and you’ll get back to reality.

Don’t let the coronavirus situation take control of you. ❤

  1. Great post. My friends and I do a weekly trivia meetup, which has obviously been put on hold. So, we’ve taken to doing digital trivia night, chatting over Discord and making our own trivia questions. We’ve promised each other big hugs when we can meet in person again.
